Recently Completed Project: South Seattle New Home

This project involved constructing a detached accessory dwelling unit (DADU) that is 1600 square feet larger than the standard 1000 square feet. The DADU features three bedrooms, three full-size bathrooms, and a 96 square foot enclosed outdoor/indoor living space. This house design is truly unique in the Seattle Areas.

The DADU was built on an Environmentally Critical Area (ECA), which has specific requirements that must be met. Additionally, the home  is situated at the bottom of a hill. Prior to construction, we were required to dig down to native soil, which  involves significant excavation, dirt export, and rock import to bring the foundation to the necessary level.
